Interfacing EPC Solution integrated into the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration course in Alexandru Ioan Cuza University

Interfacing grants free EPC access to students of Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iaşi.

Romania November 3rd, 2020 – Interfacing announces the donation of licenses, training and support for their digital platform the EPC (Enterprise Process Center®) for the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University students in Iasi, Romania.

According to the Faculty representative, Laura-Diana Radu, “EPC allows us to better understand the organizations’ business flows and responsibilities. This is one of the best process mapping tools on the market that can be used to represent complex business processes in a simple and intuitive way.”

The EPC application promotes digital communication and collaboration across lines of business within the company, regardless of location. These core capabilities are leveraged by the students to collaborate remotely from anywhere on projects and maintain all information in one integrated repository. EPC Digital & mobile processes are perfect for the new “work/study from home” world since Corona.

EPC’s platform provides students with an opportunity to better understand business processes by creating visual diagrams. These can be mapped to a large category of artefacts: objectives, processes, procedures, employees, departments, customers, suppliers, systems, policies, documents, rules, risk assessment, controls, capabilities, and performance indicators, all located in a central repository. In addition to documenting the business artefact Alexandru Ioan Cuza will be using the tool to highlight as-is issues and simulate to-be improvements using the lean analysis and what if simulation features.

Ms. Radu added “The application allows our students in this case, to assign and visualize in a logical manner the roles, documents, relationships between processes and risks associated with them.” She concluded, “We’d like to thank Interfacing Technologies Corporation for their support, and we hope this application will become a standard for the following generations of students.”

The faculty saw value early with Interfacing’s EPC platform as it is providing students with a significant improvement in their ability to easily understand management information systems. It was the perfect software to use with the students’ real-world case scenario of a company producing and selling ice-cream with distribution to various locations across Romania.

Interfacing has proudly sponsored similar university programs internationally and will continue to share our knowledge with the future champions of business for years to come.”

Armstrong continued, “A growing utilization of our tools within European schools supports our rapid growth across Europe whereby resources speaking regional languages is key. Additionally, Software & training are available in Romanian.”
