To view the language fields, the translation window can be accessed when an object is checked in. To modify the fields, the object must be checked out.

Accessing the translation window:

The translation window can be accessed using two methods:

  • Selecting an object in the explorer frame
  • Selecting an object in the diagram frame

Selecting an object in the explorer frame

This method allows for objects in a hierarchy (as well as the folders and sets themselves) to be translated. The following example is demonstrated using a process.

  1. Select the EPC object from the tree in the explorer frame and make sure it is checked out.
  2. Right click and select the option Translate…

Selecting an object in the diagram frame

This method allows for objects displayed in a list form to be translated. The following example is demonstrated using a rule.

  1. Select the EPC object from the list in the diagram frame and make sure it is checked out.
  2. Right click and select the option Translate…

Adding the translated content:

  1. Once the translation window is opened, select the desired object field to add translated content.
  2. Add the translated content in the appropriate fields.
  3. Click OK followed by Close to submit the translated content.To make the translated content available to other modelers, check in the object.
  4. To make the content available to users in the Web Portal, publish the object.
