Within SOPs are found the approval and revision history tables.

The revision table contains information about the status changes of the SOP. It is updated when a process is set as in progress, sent for review, is published, rejected or canceled. When publishing a new version of an SOPs, the revision history is cleaned so that only published entries are visible. Previous entries may still be found under the version history.

The approval table contains information about the status of the approval cycle of the SOP. It is updated in real time from within the SOP, whether a serial or parallel approval cycle is used. Approvers can thus see the action of past approvers as well as their comments. Only the latest approval cycle information is displayed.
